Marvin L. Hasker, age 77, of Buck Mountain Road, Weatherly, died Thursday, April 11, 2013, unexpectedly at home.
Survived by his wife Liciana Cornel-Hasker.
A Weatherly High School graduate, Marvin served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He was a machinist by trade, and member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Weatherly.
Marvin, enjoyed the outdoors.
Born in Weatherly, the son of the late Roy and Naomi (Neidlinger) Hasker.
He is also survived by his Step daughters,
Ruby C. Nelson of Plaistow, NH., Rosanna Silva of Philippines, Rowena Baxter Stockton, Ca., Rosemarie Hyson of Albany, NY., Ronilda Schenewerk of Drums, Pa.,
Remedios Cornel of Philippines;
Step son, Rodrigo Cornel of Sypai;
Ten grandchildren;
Four great grandchildren
Aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First street, Weatherly, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM Monday, April 15, 2013.
Funeral service will be at Philip J. Jeffreis Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Monday, April 15, 2013, Rev. Dawn Richie to officiate.
Interment with Military Honors, will be at Union Cemetery of Weatherly, Pa.
