Martin Chalupa, 93 years of age, of Lehighton, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at home in the loving care of his daughter.
Born Friday, June 17, 1927 in Lansford, Pennsylvania. the son of the late Martin, and Mary (Pavelka) Chalupa. He was also predeceased by; his beloved wife, Anna Mae (Painter) Chalupa on Sept. 27, 2010; sisters, Anna Jacobs, Mary C. Jaso; brothers, Paul Chalupa, Rev. John Chalupa.
Surviving are; daughters, Dolly Friedman of Greenville, PA, Carol Ann Long of Sicklerville, NJ; son, Martin Thomas Chalupa of Tucson , AZ, ; 7 grandchildren.
Martin graduated from 1945 graduate of Lansford High School, and earned his engineering degree from Temple University. A member of St. John Slovak Lutheran Church of Lansford, Martin retired from Bayer Corporation of Pittsburg. Martin, and Anna enjoyed traveling. He will be deeply missed.
Martin served honorably in the United States Navy during WWII.
