Marlin C. Troxell, 61 years of age, of West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at home surrounded by his family.
Marlin is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Carol Marie (Sedar) Troxell.
A 1971 graduate of Tamaqua High School. Marlin continued his education at Pennsylvania State University, Schuylkill Campus, earning an Associates Degree in Computer Science.
Marlin was a dairy farmer and an avid Philadelphia sports and PSU football fan.
He was a member of Ben Salem United Church of Christ, the Andreas Fire Company, Andreas Sporting Club and the Pennsylvania Farmer's Bureau.
Born in Andreas, the son of the late Franklin, and Mildred (Fritzinger) Troxell.
In addition to his wife, Carol, he is survived by his sister, Doris Lusch of Andreas; a brother Arlin Troxell and his wife, Ellen, of Andreas; father in-law Michael Sedar of Tamaqua; sister in-law, Barbara Houser of New Ringgold; brother in-law Michael Sedar and his wife, Lori, of Leesport, PA Aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews survive him.
Preceded in death by sister, Mrs. Dianne F. Mimm, and brother, Clayton Troxell.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, PA 17960.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home. Reverend Michael McGowan to officiate.
Friends may call Monday evening, July 20, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home and again on, Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM until time of service.
Interment at Ben Salem UCC Cemetery, Lehighton, PA.
