Mark E. Hettler, age 63, of Palmerton, died Thursday, December 13, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma (Berger) Hettler.

A Vietnam War veteran, Mark had worked as a Mason for A.J. Trunzo Construction. He was a member of the Lehighton AmVets, and Legion as well as the Hungarian Club.

Mark enjoyed golfing.

Born in Mahoning Twp., he was the son of the late William and Mildred (Coll) Hettler.

He is survived by his

Eight Sisters,
Mary A. Strohl wife of Tom of Jim Thorpe,
Ethel Conroy of Lehighton, Mrs. Jane Nicolai of Weissport,
Patricia Shook wife of Richard of Upper Towamensing,
Dorothy Sheer wife of James of Oregon,
Florence Ziegler wife of Paul of Jim Thorpe,
Emma Koch of Lehighton,
Brenda Seabold wife of Daniel of Auburn;

Two Brothers,
Karl Hettler of Walnutport,
Eugene Hettler and his wife Bilinda of Lehighton;

Four grandchildren, Emily, Brandon, shawn, and Audrey.

Preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Solt; brother, William Hettler.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11 o'clock AM at the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, PA.

Friends shall be received from 10 o'clock AM until time of service.

Interment at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa.
