Marjorie E. Banta, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother of Catawissa Street Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at home while in the care of her family at 82 years of age.
Born Friday, February 10, 1939 in Jersey City, New Jersey the daughter of the late Christian, and Rhoda (Von-Horn) Larsen. She was also predeceased by her son, Christian Banta.
Surviving are; daughters, Theresa Bartosh and her husband Joe of Jim Thorpe, Rhoda Banta of Hunlock Creek; son, Robert Banta and his wife Michelle of Wallington, NJ,; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
A graduate of North Bergen High School in New Jersey, Marjorie was an L.P.N, and volunteered as an ombudsman for the elderly in Carbon County.
