Marion J. Franz

Mrs. Marion J (Hoffman) Franz, age 75, of Tamaqua, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at her home.

She was the widow of Kenneth Franz who passed away on 11-27-1981.

She was the previous owner of K & M Beverages of Hometown.

Marion was a 1954 graduate of Falls Overfield High School, Mill City, Pa.

Born in Hughestown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late August Hoffman and the late Melvina (Bauman) Hoffman.

She is survived by her

Two Daughters,
Debbie (Franz) Tamagini and her husband Dennis of Tamaqua and
Diana (Franz) Snyder and her husband Bruce of Andreas;

One Son,
Kenny Franz of Hometown;

Two Sisters,
Rosemary Coolbaugh and her husband Bill of Dallas and Mary Gloria Hoffman of Barnesville;

Two Brothers,
Howard Hoffman and his wife Susan of Clarks Summit and
Chuck Hoffman and his wife Pam of Endicott, NY;

Six grandchildren; Eileen, Joseph, Derek, Joe, Trevor and Alexis;

Six great-grandchildren; Joselyn, Declan, Michael, Jakin, Jaana and Matthew.

Preceded in death by her brother, William Hoffman; sister, Margaret "Peggy" Hess.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Pastor Joseph McHugh to officiate.

Private Interment.
