Marion A. Clewell-Deitrich

Mrs. Marion A. Clewell-Deitrich, age 81, of Lehighton, formerly of Tamaqua, and West Penn Twp., died Monday, June 6, 2011, at Blue Mountain Summit in Lehighton.

A member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tamaqua, Marion was also a member of the West Penn Rod & Gun Club, and enjoyed playing Bingo and Shuffle Board.

Marion, retired from the Slatington Lamp Factory.

Born in West Penn Township, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ella (Shafer) Miller.

She is survived by her

Two Daughters,
Linda J. (Clewell) Borger wife of Clayton of Palmerton,
Margaret (Clewell) Bell of Bowmanstown,

Son,
David H. Clewell and his wife Debra of Tamaqua;

Step Daughters,
Laverne Miller wife of Lenny of Lehighton,
Miss Darlene Dietrich of Tamaqua;

Five grandchildren
Six great-grandchildren;

Preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Clewell in 1960; second husband, Franklin W. Deitrich; step daughter Eldora Dietrich;Step mother, Carrie Miller; brothers, Ralph, and Floyd Miller.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday, June 9, 2011.

Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 9, 2011, Rev. Jeffrey Kistler to officiate.

Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua.
