Marion E. (Stahler) Bogosh 88 yrs. of age of South Tamaqua, went home to her Lord and Savior on April 14, 2013. She was being cared for at Seton Manor since February.
Marion is survived by her husband of 62 years, Theodore (Teddy) Bogosh.
Born in Tamaqua, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Levi and Emily Louise (Seltzer) Stahler.
She grew up in Tamaqua, played on the Tamaqua Girls’ Basketball Team, and graduated from Tamaqua High School in 1942.
Marion was a faithful and active member of Bethany E.C. Church in Tamaqua. Over the years, she taught Sunday School, was president of the Adult Missionary society and was a church board member.
Marion had worked at the Majestic Theater and the Acme grocery store in Tamaqua until she became a wife and mother. She owned and operated “The Dixie Cup”, an ice cream and food stand in South Tamaqua. She was also a cook in the family business, The Bogosh Café.
Marion was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the V.F.W., Post 3975, of Auburn.
She had also greatly enjoyed fishing in her active years, and loved her ice cream.
Besides her husband, Marion is also survived by her two children: a son, Theodore Bogosh III of South Tamaqua, and a daughter, Betty Anna of Auburn, wife of Dale J. Renninger.
She was blessed with seven grandchildren: Danielle (Bogosh) Hibbs, Shannon (Bogosh) Shobe, Sherry (Bogosh) Van Horn, Gidget (Bogosh) Boatright, Joy (Bogosh) Hollenbach, Reed Bogosh and Lisa Renninger.
She was also blessed with eight great-grandchildren: Matthew Mokris, Chad Bogosh, Rozalie Smith, Kylie Boatright, Emma Shobe, Hailey Bogosh, Lilly Hollenbach and Trent Hollenbach.
She is also survived by a niece, Joan (Stahler) Haldeman, and nephews Ronald Stahler, Robert Stahler and Dale Stahler, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
She was preceeded in death by her brother, Eugene Stahler, Elizabeth, N.J., sister, Roberta (Stahler) Konsko, Harrisburg, and two nephews: William Stahler and Barry Stahler.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday April 19, 2013 from the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa. 18252 at 11 0'clock A.M, Rev. Kevin Roberts to officiate.
Friends shall be received Thursday, April 18, 2013 from the funeral home, 6 to8:00 P.m., and on Friday morning from10:00 A.M. until time of services.
Interment will be at SkyView Cemetery, Hometown.
