Marilyn A. Stump

June 5, 1934 — March 27, 2018

Marilyn A. (Weisenfluh) Stump of North Street Weatherly passed away on Tuesday March 27, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Salisbury Township at the age of 83.

Survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Rev. Donald J. Stump; daughters, Donnell J. Stump and her companion Dennis Graham of Weatherly, Diane J. Polchin and her husband James of Weatherly, Debra J. Dougherty wife of Thomas of Hazle Twp.; son, Donald J. Stump, Jr. and his wife Pamela of Weatherly; brother, John Weisenfluh and his wife Barbara of Taylor; grandchildren, Christina Brasavage wife of Matthew, Audrey Graham, Kathleen Graham, Heather Polchin, Jessica Polchin, Alyssa Dougherty, and Erica Dougherty.

A 1952 graduate of Taylor High School, Marilyn had worked at the former Jim Wagner's Hardware Store in Hazleton; however her true calling was that of loving mother, dotting grandmother and her supporting role to Pastor during his career serving various church congregations.

Marilyn, was a Den Mother and Girl Scout leader for her children, she chaired the Weatherly Blood Drives and was a Red Cross Volunteer. She served on the Board of Directors of the Phoebe Home in Allentown, and was a member of Salem U.C.C. of Weatherly.  In her free time, Marilyn was an avid reader and enjoyed doing word puzzles.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services of 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255. (570) 427-4231

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday March 31 at 11 o'clock A.M. from Salem U.C.C. 330 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255.  Rev. Sharon Frye to officiate.  Friends may call on the morning of services in church from 9:30 A.M. until time of worship.

Private interment Union Cemetery Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
