Marilyn Grace Grula

Marilyn Grace Grula, 74 years of age of Franklin Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed into eternal rest Saturday, June 6, 2015, at home surrounded and cared for by her four daughters.

Widow of Leonard R. Grula who died in 1979.

A Weatherly High School graduate, Marilyn was a member of Salem U.C.C. of Weatherly. She enjoyed playing Bingo, and gardening. Marilyn was a poet and enjoyed writing children's stories.

Marilyn was a trained auto mechanic who drag raced at Evergreen Racetrack.

Born Wednesday, April 16, 1941 in Hazleton, daughter of the late Lewis and Helen (Mason) Kistler.

Surviving are daughters,
Mrs. Dawn M. Treible wife of Lee of West Hazleton,
Ann M. Grula and her companion John Lazar of Weatherly,
Mrs. Michele Lynn Lauer wife of Randy of Hazle Twp.,
Cynthia H. Grula and her fiance' David Reimiller, Jr. of McAdoo;

Brother,
Lewis Kistler and his wife Linda of White Haven;

Sisters,
Dolores(Kistler) McInroy and her husband Teddy of Weatherly,
Kay (Kistler) Abboud of Conyngham;

8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by brother, Robert Kistler.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. of 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255.

Funeral Services Wednesday June 10, 2015 at 11 o'clock A.M. from the funeral home.

A Gathering of Friends shall occur at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. to time of services on Wednesday June 10, 2015.

Interment will be in Mt. Laurel Cemetery, Hazleton, Pennsylvania.
