Marie J. Nunemacher

Marie J. (Houser) Nunemacher, age 74, of East Hazle St., Tamaqua, died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at home while in the care of her family.

Survived by her husband of 57 years, Ken Nunemacher.

A member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tamaqua, Marie enjoyed quilting and cross stitching.

Marie had worked at the former Purling Mills of Tamaqua.

Born in Grier City, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Isabelle (Klenchusky) Houser.

She is also survived by her;
Two Daughters,
Wanda (Nunemacher) Keefer wife of Daniel of New Ringgold, Monique (Nunemacher) Stein of Tamaqua;

Four Sons,
Ronald Nunemacher and his wife Kathy of Tamaqua,
William Nunemacher of New Ringgold,
Richard Nunemacher and his wife Kimberly of West Penn Twp., Tom Nunemacher of New Ringgold;

One Sister,
Nancy Lawson wife of Joseph of Tamaqua;

Two Brothers,
Robert Houser of Ocala, Fla.,
Lawrence Houser and his wife Sue of Milford, Del. ;

Seven grandchildren, Amerique, Bri, Ty, Derek, Deanna, Josh, and Dalton;
One great-grandchild, Camden;

Nieces, and nephews.

Preceded in death by her son, Donald L. Nunemacher, on January 9, 2012; sisters, Mrs. Shirley Frye, and Mrs. Margaret Kimmel.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 11, 2012.

Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 7 o'clock PM Wednesday, July 11, 2012, Rev. Jeffrey Kistler to officiate.

Private interment.
