Marie K. Mistal , 69 years of age of Union Street, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016, at the home of her son John and his wife Chrissy in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
Widow of Gerald C. Mistal, Sr. who passed away in October of 1998, she is survived by; sons, Charles Kohlmeir of South Dakota, John Kohlmeir and his wife Chrissy with whom she resided, Gerald C. Mistal, Jr. and his wife Amy of Bethlehem; daughter, Renee Kunkel of Tamaqua; sister, Mrs. Frances Rusden wife of Donald of Wilmington, DE; grand children, Cecily, Lyndsey, Kelsey, and Madison; 2 great grand children; nieces, and nephews also survive her.
A St. Jerome High School graduate, Marie had worked at the former J.E. Morgan Knitting Mills for many years. A member of St. John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua, Marie enjoyed her animals, visiting Locust Lake State Park, and was an avid reader.
Born Sunday, June 30, 1946 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late John, and Kathryn (Hyland) Casey. She was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Kohlmeir; brothers, Theodore and Thomas Casey.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 o'clock AM on Saturday January 9, 2016 from St. John XXIII R.C.C. located at 266 West Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.
