Mrs. Maria (Kim) Abromitis, age 82, of Towson, Md., formerly of Columbia St., Tamaqua, died Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at Edenwald Assisted Living Center, Towson, Md.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Abromitis who passed away on May 17, 1998.
She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. of Tamaqua.
She was born in Seoul, Korea.
Maria had worked in the textile industry as a seamstress.
She is survived by her
One Son,
James J. Abromitis and his wife Allison of Stevenson, MD;
Two Daughters,
Katherine (Abromitis) Fuller and her husband Charles of West Chester, Pa., Dr. Louise (Abromitis) Jaskulski and her husband, Ken of Wilmington, DE;
One Granddaughter , Annie Jaskulski.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends on Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 9:30-10:30 AM. Prayer Service at 10:15 AM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 11 o'clock AM at SS. Peter & Paul RCC, 305 Pine St., Tamaqua, Pa., Reverend William Linkchorst officiating.
Interment at SS. Peter & Paul RCC Cemetery, Owl Creek.
