Marguerite Ann "Peggy" Knorr
December 5, 1956 — February 16, 2016
Marguerite Ann"Peggy" Knorr, 59 years of age of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at the home of her son while in the loving care of her children.
Surviving are sons, Richard Myers of Quakake, William G. "Billy" Myers of Tamaqua; daughter, Dawn Frye of Mahanoy City; brothers, William Johnson of North Wales, Richard Johnson of Tehachapi, California; grandchildren. Jordan, Nathaniel, Louie, Emily, and Trea.
Peggy worked as a food preparer in various restaurants and grocery stores in Tamaqua. She was an accomplished roller skater, and helped to manage a local skating rink in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania in her youth. Peggy was so talented as a skater that she was asked to join a Roller Derby team.
Peg enjoyed people and had many friends who will miss her dearly.
Born Wednesday, December 5, 1956 in Chillicothe, Ohio, the daughter of the late Theodore Wallace Johnson, and Dorthea Therese (Steel) Johnson.

A Celebration of Peggy's life will be held at 3 o'clock PM on Saturday February 20, 2016 from the funeral home.
