Margaret C (George) Wagner, age 84, of Schuylkill Ave., Tamaqua, died Sunday, January 29, 2017 at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale. She was the widow of Harold G. Wagner, Sr. who died January 3, 2014. Margaret was a homemaker and a caregiver to others. She was a member of Primitive United Methodist Church, Tamaqua where she was a choir member. She enjoyed singing and doing crossword puzzles. Margaret was a West Pittston High School graduate and a former Salvation Army officer. Born in W. Pittston on June 27, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Asbury T. George and the late Bertha (Miller) George She is survived by her Sons, Scott E Wagner and his wife Rebecca of Orefield; Harold G Wagner and his wife Judy A. of Tamaqua; Daniel H Wagner and his wife Vickie of Winfield, IL; Stephen H Wagner and his wife Diana of Mont Clare, Pa.; Daughter, Bonnie Castagna wife of David of Wilmington, DE; Seventeen Grandchildren Three Great-Grandchildren. Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Friday, February 3, 2017. Funeral Service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 3, 2017, Reverend Rodney Hall to officiate.
