Margaret K. (Buchman) Porter, mother, sister, and nannie, 86 years of age of Franklin Court Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Bloomsburg Hospital in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.
Widow of Paul P. Porter, who passed away on April 21, 2010.
Survived by; son, Richard G. Porter and his wife Connie of Bloomsburg; daughter, Ruth E. Kohl with whom she resided of Bloomsburg; brother, Gordon Buchman and his wife Rosemary of Freeland; sisters, Mrs. Marlene Panic of Florida, Mrs. Dorothy Sonntag of Upper Lehigh, Mrs. Bessie Heller wife of Richard of Upper Lehigh, PA; grand children, Heather, Tara, Kelly, Jackie, Ricky, Eddie; great grand children, Danielle, Dyllan, Kira, Morgan, Andrew, Nicholas, Alena, Kolton, Kaden, Gianna, and Meleah; great great grandchildren, Ava.
Margaret had worked as a Nurses' Aide, and Activities Aide for Weatherwood Nursing Home in Weatherly for many years. She enjoyed reading, and crocheting. Margaret adored her grandchildren.
Born Saturday, November 30, 1929 in Weatherly, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Clarence, and Kathryn (sauer) Buchman. Margaret was also predeceased by brothers, William, Harry, and Clarence Buchman.

A Funeral service will be at 11 o'clock AM on Monday May 9, 2016 from the funeral home.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, May 9, 2016, at Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
