Margaret D."Peg" (Clausius) Kubilus, age 91, of East Broad Street Tamaqua, died Friday, January 25, 2013, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale.
Widow of Joseph Charles Kubilus who died on May 9, 1986.
A member of St. Jerome R.C.C. of Tamaqua, Peg was also a 1940 St. Jerome High School graduate.
An active volunteer for the weekly St. Jerome Bingo. She was a member of the Ladies Aux. of the United Transportaion Union.
Born in Tamaqua, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (McHugh) Clausius.

Mary Ann (Kubilus) Spirko wife of Stephen,
Margaret K. (Kubilus) Romano wife of Joseph;
One Son,
Joseph Peter Kubilus all of Tamaqua;
Five grandchildren; Teresa, Michelle, Marie, Antionette, and Sharon;
Seven great-grandchildren;
One great-great-grandchild;
Preceded in death by sisters, Mrs. Mary Donald, Mrs. Josephine Hichok; brothers, John, Harry, Jerome, Conrad, Vincent, William, James, and Joseph Clausius.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 29, 2013 and from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Wednesday, January 30, 2013.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jerome R.C.C. at 11 o'clock A.M. Wednesday, January 30, 2013.
Interment will be at St. Jerome R.C.C. Cemetery in Tamaqua.
