Margaret Mary Frisbie

Margaret Mary (Mundy) Frisbie, mother, and grandmother, age 71, of North Lehigh Street Tamaqua, died Sunday, February 9, 2014, at home, in the care of her daughters, having courageously battled cancer for the past year.

Widow of Dennis J. Frisbie, who died on Nov. 6, 2006.


A 1960 Marian High School graduate, Margaret Mary was a member of St. Jerome R.C.C. of Tamaqua, and was an active member of the C.W.E.A. of St. Jerome Regional School, having served as President.

Margaret Mary, had been a beautician in Tamaqua and then retired from St. Jerome R.C.C. having worked for a number of associated Pastors.

Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late P. Hugh and Margaret (McGeehan) Mundy.

She is survived by her;

Daughters,
Natalie M. (Frisbie) Bachert wife of Douglas of Andreas;
Holly A. (Frisbie) Bobrowski wife of Dr. Daniel of Pottsville;

Two grandchildren,
Brady and Hannah.

Preceded in death by an infant brother, Patrick Mundy.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 12, 2014, and from 8:45 AM to 9:30 AM Thur., February 13, 2014.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jerome R.C.C. at 10 o'clock AM Thursday, February 13, 2014.

Interment will be at St. Jerome R.C.C. Cemetery in Tamaqua.
