Mable E. Wertman, mother, grandmother, 89 years of age of Municipal Road, Lehighton, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at home.
Widow of Curtis O. Wertman, Mable is survived by; daughter, Mrs. Nancy M. Schoenberger wife of Darvin of Lehighton, with whom she resided; grand children, Amy Flores and her husband Robert, Marcy Kline and her husband Scott; great grand children, Austin, Colin, and Samantha Flores, Katelyn, and Codey Kline.
A member of Ben Salem U.C.C. of Lehighton, Mable had worked at Scotty's in Palmerton, and Peerless Mills of Lehighton. She was a talented seamstress, enjoyed playing cards, and being with her great grandchildren. Many nieces, and nephews also survive her.
Born Sunday, January 2, 1927 in West Penn Twp,, the daughter of the late George, and Evelyn (Everett) Smith. She was also predeceased by sisters, Mrs. Lottie Miller, and Miss. Arlene Smith; brother, Wayne Smith.
