Genevieve M. Scarloss

Mrs. Genevieve M. (Baddick) Scarloss, age 94, of Tamaqua, formerly of Coaldale, Pa., died Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at St. Lukes Miners Memorial Medical Ctr. in Coaldale, Pa.

Genevieve was a member of St. Jerome R.C.C. of Tamaqua, and belonged to the C.W.E.A of St. Jerome School.

She owned and operated her own Beauty Shop in Tamaqua for over 60 years.

Born in Mary-D, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and the Nora (Urban) Baddick.

She is survived by her

One Son,
Paul T. Scarloss and his wife Jean of Tamaqua, Pa.

Three Sisters,
Helen M. (Baddick) Campbell,
Eleanor (Baddick) Paslawsky,
Regina Witcofsky wife of Anthony "Mickey" all of Tamaqua, Pa.

Three grandchildren
Three great-grandchildren

Preceded in death by her husband, in 1994 Paul Scarloss, brothers, Joseph, Frank, and Edward Baddick; sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Kokalec, Mrs. Mary Zaleha, and Mrs. Josephine Krynock.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.,

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM Monday, October 26, 2009 from St. Jerome R.C.C. Chuch West Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa. 18252.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Jerome R.C.C. at 11 o'clock A.M., Monday, October 26, 2009, Rev. James Bechtel officiaitng.

Interment will be at St. Jerome R.C.C. Cemetery in Tamaqua, Pa.
