Mr. Lowell W. Boyer, age 70, of 477 Valley Road Tamaqua, Pa., died Monday, January 28, 2008, at St. Lukes Miners Memorial Medical Ctr. in Coaldale, Pa.
Lowell retired from AlCOA Aluminum of Cressona. Prior to working at ALCOA he owned Boyer Auto Body of Lewistown Valley, and helped his parents on their dairy farm.
He is a member of Zion Church of Lewistown Valley, and was a United States Army Veteran.
Born in the Lewistown Valley, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Martha Boyer.
Survived by his wife of 31 years, Mrs. Cheryl (Miller) Boyer;
Two Sons,
Mr. Benjamin L. Boyer, and
Mr. Jeremy D. Boyer of Tamaqua, Pa.
One Brother,
Mr. Kenneth Boyer of Tamaqua, Pa.
Preceded in death by a brother Marlin Boyer.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, January 30, 2008 at the funeral home and from 10:00 AM until time of services, January 31, 2008 at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., at 11 o'clock AM, Rev. Sunny Stock officiating.
Interment will be at Zion Cemetery of Lewistown Valley.
