Louise Ann (Richards) Stoffa

Louise Ann Stoffa, 83, of Jim Thorpe, passed away at home on Friday, July 13.Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of Lewis and Anna (Valuch) Richards and was a 1953 graduate of Coaldale High School. She met her future husband George Stoffa of East Mauch Chunk (formerly Coalport) at the Lakeside Ballroom. They married in 1957 and lived in Brentwood, NY on Long Island where she worked for the Brentwood School District. In 1992 they retired and returned home to the family farm in Jim Thorpe. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on December 7, 2017.
