Louise M. Faust, 82, wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Wednesday evening at her home on Wetzel Run Drive in Weatherly surrounded by her family.
Born in Beaver Meadows, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Catherine (Sippel) Dunn. She was also preceded in death by brothers, William and Harold Dunn.
A 1951 Hazleton High School graduate, Louise worked at Tung-Sol in Weatherly and beside her husband at the Weatherly Herald newspaper. She was a very active member of Centenary United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years, served as financial secretary, and was involved on many fundraising committees. Louise enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, James P. Faust, with whom she celebrated 60 years of marriage in August; daughters, Catherine L. Grega, wife of Gerard, Sr. and Lori L. Reiner wife of Craig, both of Weatherly, and Jamie P. Noon wife of Paul, Jr. of Kutztown; grandchildren, Gerard, Jr., James, Jonathan and his wife Lynn, Julianne, Paul III, Ryan, Joshua, Luke, and Lynea; great-grandson, Benjamin James; sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Loftus of Delaware and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jefferies Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 211 First Street, Weatherly.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place at the funeral home on Sunday November 8, 2015 from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 11 A.M. in Centenary United Methodist Church, 30 Carbon Street, Weatherly, preceded by a viewing from 10:15 to 10:45 A.M. Rev. Charles Englehart will officiate. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Weatherly.
