Louise Caputo Becker Arieta, age 78, of Arlington St., Tamaqua, died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Mahoning Valley Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center in Lehighton, surrounded by her family.
She was the widow of Cosmo Arieta.
Louise had worked as a retail sales manager at several businesses in the Poconos.
She was a Tamaqua High School graduate.
Louise was an accomplished seamstress and a devout Yankees fan but above all she was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Born in Tamaqua, she was the daughter of the late Louis Caputo and the late Lottie (Derr) Caputo.
She is survived by her
One Daughter,
Judy (Becker) DeHaven and her husband Mark of Kunkletown;
One Son,
Donald L Becker and his wife Kathleen of San Antonio, TX;
One Sister,
JoAnn Walton of Tamaqua;
One Brother,
Vincent Caputo and his wife Maryann of Lawrenceville, GA;
Four grandchildren
Carissa, Daniel, Brigid and Alana.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM.
Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 11 o'clock AM at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Rev. Marjorie Keiter to officiate.
Interment at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua.
