Louis J. Hoepp, Sr., a 25 year patrolman for the City of Philadelphia Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale, Pennsylvania at the age of 88 having retired to Lansford. Louis and his wife have been guest's at the Hometown Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center for the past few years.
Survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Alphonsine "Tootsie" (Silvestro) Hoepp of Tamaqua; daughter, Joan M. Sanders of Coal Twp.; sister, Barbara Dempsey of Philadelphia; 7 grand children; 6 great grand children.
Born Thursday, December 26, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The son of the late Leonard, and Edna May (Goldstine) Hoepp. He was also predeceased by son, Louis J. Hoepp, Jr.; daughter, Deborah A. McConomy; sisters, Joan Litcher, Dorothy Berenato.
A graduate of South Catholic High School class of 1946, Philadelphia. Louis was an avid international traveler and collector. Louis, enjoyed hunting and watching old movies, especially Westerns.

Funeral service will be at 12 o'clock noon on Thursday May 10, 2018 from the funeral home. Friends may call from 10:30 A.M. until time of services.
