Mrs. Lorraine C (Whitebread) Koch, age 89, of Tamaqua, died Monday, March 7, 2011, at Seton Manor in Orwigsburg.
Lorraine retired from Uniforms by Marty, Hazleton, Pa. where she was the manager.
She was Protestant by faith.
Born in Jeddo, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William Oscar Whitebread and the late Anna (Griffith) Whitebread.
She is survived by her
one daughter,
Evelyn (Koch) Reinheimer and her husband Larry of Bear Creek
one son,
Alan M Koch and his wife Elaine of Tuscarora
four grandchildren
eight great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband in 1972, Walter R. Koch; son, W. Richard Koch; brother, Paul Whitebread; sisters, Ruth Wetherhold, Evelyn Demshaw and Arvilla Walck.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends on Friday, March 11, 2011 from 10:30-11:00AM.
Funeral Service will be on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 11:00AM at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Reverend Jeffrey Kistler officiating.
Interment at Hanover Greens Cemetery, Nanticoke, Pa.
