Mrs. Lois J (Wilkinson) Ladner-Miller, age 81, of Weatherly, formerly of White Haven died Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at Weatherwood, Carbon County.
Lois was previously employed as a sales clerk at JC Penney, Wilkes-Barre, Pa. and was a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church of Weatherly.
She was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing with her step-father George Ike Anthony.
Born in Pond Creek, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Wilkinson and the late Ruth (Richards) Wilkinson and George Ike Anthony.
She is survived by her
Sons,
Guy Ladner of White Haven; Richard Ladner of Freeland; Gary Ladner and his wife Karen of Northampton; and Gregg Ladner and his wife Kathy of Harrisonburg, VA
daughter, Karen Ladner of Falls Church, VA
six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband Theodore R. Ladner in 1986; brother, Paul A. Anthony.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffries F.D./Supervisor.
Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 10:00AM at Laurel Cemetery, White Haven, Pa., Reverend Dawn Richie officiating.
