Lois Jean Benner, 67 years of age, of Lansford, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg Campus from complications of covid-19.
Born Saturday, January 16, 1954 the daughter of the late Louis, and Victoria (Malanitch) Hanzarik. Lois was also predeceased by her husband William E. Benner on Dec 18, 2018.
Surviving are; daughter, Abigail Benner of Lansford with whom she resided, son, William Benner, Jr. of Coaldale; sisters, Nancy Hanzarik, Jane Hanzarik, and Connie Roberts (a cousin she considered a sister); grandchildren, William Benner III, Ethan, Logan, and Layne Benner.
A graduate of Northampton High School, Lois was a stay at home mother, and was devoted to her Lord. Lois, enjoyed visiting the local state parks, spending time with her grandchildren, and watching TV with her faithful canine companion Carly.
