It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, Linda M. Agosti, of Lake Hauto, Pennsylvania. After a 3 year battle with ALS, Linda passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at home surrounded by her husband and children at the age of 58.
Linda was born July 20, 1966 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late David, and Carolyn (DiSabella) Leonard. Linda was also predeceased by; her brother, David Leonard.
Linda is survived by; her husband of 32 years, Robert J. "Bobby" Agosti; sons, Anthony D. Agosti, Nico O. Agosti and Dante R. Agosti; daughter, Gianna M. Agosti; sisters, Jacqueline Leonard and Carrie VanBlargan (wife of Brian VanBlargan). Many nieces and nephews also survive Linda.
A 1984 graduate of the former Bishop Hafey High School in Hazleton, Linda attended Penn State University, where she took great pride in cheering on the Penn State football team from the sidelines. A member of St. John XXIII R.C.C. in Tamaqua, Linda was a compassionate caregiver and talented cook. Not only was she an incredible mother to her own children, but she also supported many other young lives through babysitting and being a second mother to so many. She and Bobby own Skipper Dipper's in Still Creek, and for many years, she greeted every customer with her infectious smile and charm.
Linda's greatest joy in life was the pride she took in raising her children to be kind, caring and compassionate adults. She modeled true selfless love as reflected by the support she received from her children over the past 3 years.
A perfect day for Linda started with praying the rosary and spending time in the sun on the lake, and ended with homemade ravioli and an apple pie at the table surrounded by family and friends.
