Lillian B. Gernert, beloved mother, sister, aunt, 82 years of age of West Penn Twp. Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale, Pennsylvania.

Born Monday, June 22, 1942 in West Penn Township, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Deyman and Messida (Lorah) Hamm. Lillian was also predeceased by; her husband, Ronald P. Gernert Sr. on November 20, 1996; sister, Elaine Sterner.

Surviving are son, Ronald P. "Butch" Gernert, Jr. with whom she resided; sister, Mabel Smith; brothers, Larry Hamm and his wife Kay, Johnny Hamm and his wife Jeannie, Jesse Hamm and his wife Marie. Many nieces and nephews also survive Lillian.

A Tamaqua High School graduate, Lillian worked in the Textile Industry for many years. A devout member of Zion Stone Church of West Penn Township, Lillian enjoyed tending to her home and cutting grass.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday April 7, 2025 at 11 o'clock A.M. from Zion Stone Church of West Penn Township located at 45 Cemetery Road New Ringgold, Pennsylvania 17960. Rev. Russell Campbell to officiate. Friends may call in church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services.

Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252
