Mrs. Lilian (Prescott) Cummings, age 81, of Penn Dr., Tamaqua, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Blue Mountain Health Systems in Lehighton.
She was the widow of Thomas V. Cummings who passed away Nov. 22, 2012. They had been married for 60 years.
Lilian had been employed by Ken Beech Appraisals of NY., NY where she had typed appraisals for them. She and her late husband were owners of Towaco Beach Club.
She was a member of the Church of England.
Born in Liverpool, England, she was the daughter of the late John Prescott and the late Lilian (Lea) Prescott.
She is survived by her

Susan (Cummings) Angelo and her husband John of Dobbs Ferry, NY;
One Son,
Stephen T Cummings and his wife Barbara of Lake Hiawatha, NJ;
One Sister,
Brenda (Prescott) Williams and her husband Robert of the U.K.;
Two Brothers,
Raymond Prescott of the U.K. and John Prescott and his wife Dorothy of New Zealand;
Four grandchildren
Lesley, Jennifer, Nicole and Stephanie
Two great-grandchildren
Alexander and Liliana.
Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pa., where the family will receive friends on Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
Funeral Service will be on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Rev. Ernest Diefenderfer officiating.
Private Interment at St. John's Cemetery, Mahoning Valley.
