Lewie Allen Zavitsky, age 33, of Ruddle St., Coaldale died Monday, August 3, 2009 at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital in Coaldale.
A graduate of Panther Valley High School, he enjoyed racing, camping, Mustangs and Monster Trucks.
Lewie was Catholic by faith and worked as a truck driver for AutoZone of Hazleton.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of Leo Allen and Mary Ann (Hartner) Zavitsky of Coaldale.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his
sons, Lewie Allen Zavitsky, Jr. and his mother Catherine Lussman; and Leland Zavitsky both of Coaldale
companion, Keri Taschler of Coaldale
brothers, Leo Allen Zavitsky, Jr. and Luckey Allen Zavitsky both of Coaldale
sister, Mary Ann Seip and her husband Dave of Hellertown
sister-in-law, Bobbi Kulaga wife of Brian Kulaga
niece, Jessica Seip
nephew, David Seip III
aunts and uncles.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, Pa. where the family will receive friends on Friday, August 7, 2009 from 9-11 a.m.
Funeral Service will be on Friday, August 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Reverend William Linkchorst officiating.
Interment in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown.
