Mr. Leonard W. Kenesky, age 90, of Tamaqua, Pa., died Sunday, September 30, 2007, at St. Lukes Bethlehem in Bethlehem, PA.
Mr. Kenesky was employed by PPL as a Head Lineman for 38 years. A Mahanoy City High School graduate, he Captained the Varsity Football Team. A WWII Army veteran, Leonard was a member of the V.F.W. and the Tamaqua American Legion. He was a member of SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. of Tamaqua, Pa.

Preceded in death in 1994 by his wife, Eva (Bobarsky) Kenesky; Brothers, Francis, and Albert Kenesky; Sister Miss. Dolly Kenesky
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Thursday, October 4, 2007 and from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Friday, October 5, 2007.
Prayer Services Thursday evening at 7:30PM
Mass of Christian Burial will be at SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. at 11:00 AM Friday, October 5, 2007 , Rev. William Linkchorst officiating.
Interment will be at SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. Cemetery, Tamaqua, PA.
