Leona M. Machay, 79 years of age of Tuscarora, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Blue Mountain Summit in Lehighton, Pennsylvania.
Widow of George Machay; she is survived by; sons, George Machay and his wife Ruthie, and Kevin Machay and his wife Georgiann both of Tuscarora.; brother, William Yarnell of Florida; 6 grand children; 9 great grand children.
Leona was a member of Advent Lutheran Church of Tuscarora, and the Tamaqua, and Ryan Twp. Senior Citizens. Leona had worked in the Textile Industry at the former Tuscarora Sportsware. She enjoyed bingo, and cross stitching.
Born Monday, May 18, 1936 in Walker Twp. , Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Bill, and Dorothy (Mertz) Yarnell. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Brandt.
