Leo M. McGrath, 78 of Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania died on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at home.
Born Tuesday, June 30, 1942 in Warren, Ohio the son of the late Thomas M., and Helen (Truskey) McGrath. He was also predeceased by his wife Barbara (Yeager) McGrath; sister, Barbara Bradley; brother, Thomas McGrath.
Surviving are sister, Linda Wertman and her husband, Merle of Tamaqua; sister-in-law, Kay McGrath; nieces and nephews, Marie, Donna, Joan, Butch, Barb, Debbie, Shelly, Tracy. A graduate of Tamaqua High School, Leo served honorably in the United States Army. He retired from Myers Welding of Hazleton. Catholic by faith, Leo was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards.
