Mr. Leo W Beerley, Sr., age 85, of New Ringgold, passed away Tuesday,
February 28, 2012, at Schuylkill Medical Center, Pottsville, Pa.
He served in the US Navy during WWII
Leo retired from Bud's, Philadelphia, where he was a registered master
plumber and pipefitter.
He was a member of St. Ambrose R.C.C., Schuylkill Haven.
Leo was a New Ringgold Fire Co. member and was a Lifelong Philadelphia
sports fan.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Charles and Cecilia
(McSweeney) Beerley.
He is survived by his
One Daughter,
Margaret (Beerley) Latshaw of New Ringgold
Four grandchildren
Two great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Cormican) Beerley in 2000;
sons, Kenneth and Leo W. Jr.; 8 Brothers; 1 Sister;
Funeral Services will be held at the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home,
Inc. 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, PA on Monday, March 5, 2012 at
11:00 AM with Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik officiating. The Family will
receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment with military honors will be held at Ft. Indiantown Gap
National Cemetery, Annville, Pa.
