Lehman E Schmouder, 83 years of age formerly of Liberty, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015, at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, in Weatherly.
Preceded in death y his wife Leola (Bennett) Schmouder on February 7, 2013.
Lehman had worked as a foundry worker and drove truck, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and golfing. Lehman was a talented carpenter.
He served honorably during the Korean Conflict.
Born in Liberty, Pennsylvania Lycoming County on January 17, 1931 the son of the late Elton, and Nancy (Mitstifer) Schmouder.
Survived by;
Daughter:
Janet M. (Schmouder) Roupp wife of David of Liberty,
Sharon L (Schmouder) Thomas of Barbous;
Four Grandchildren
Three Great-Grandchildren;
Lehman was one of nine siblings and is survived by a sister Dorothy.
Private Arrangements are entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
Interment will be at Liberty Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liberty, Pennsylvania.
