Mr. Lee F. Wenzel, age 53, of Tamaqua, Pa., died Saturday, January 30, 2010, in Tamaqua, Pa.
A 1975 Tamaqua High School graduate, Lee was Catholic by faith.
Lee, had worked as a machine operator for the former J. E. Morgan Knitting Mills of Tamaqua for 19 years, until the plant closing.
Born in Coaldale, he is the son of George Wenzel, Jr., of Lansford, and Nellie (Virbickas) Wenzel of Tamaqua.
He is also survived by his
One Sister,
Mrs. Mary Karen (Wenzel) Shoff wife of Glenn of Tamaqua;
One Brother,
Mr. George Wenzel, III of Quakake;
Niece and nephew, Lindsay and Damian Shoff
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.,where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 2, 2010.
Prayer service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 7:30 PM Tuesday, February 2, 2010 .
Mass of Christian Burial Wed. February 3, 2010 at 10 o'clock AM SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. 307 Pine St. Tamaqua, Pa., Rev. William Linkchorst officiating.
Private Interment will be at SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C.
