Leanne M. Mazur 34 years of age passed away at home in Tamaqua on Thursday May 14, 2015 having fought courageously against colon cancer for 2&1/2 years.
Cared for by her parents Michael A., and Janice A. (Ceci) Mazur of Hometown; her companion and fiancé of ten years, David J. Price with whom she resided; sisters, Adrienne M. Mazur of Tamaqua, Angela C. (Mazur) Ferree wife of Lance of York, and Annmarie E. Mazur and her fiancé Robert VanNorman of Tamaqua; nephew Gabriel VanNorman; brothers, Michael A. Mazur, Jr. of Catasauqua, and Mark L. of York; paternal grandmother, Mildred T. (Apanavage) Ceci of Hometown; and her extended family whom she adored, David and Annie Price, and his parents Dave and Sophia, her sister-in-laws, Colleen Price, and Kaitlyn Rossasachy; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive Leanne.
A 1999 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, Leanne attended Lehigh County Community College. She had worked at Hometown Nursing Ctr., and White Owl Manor of Mahanoy City until joining Lech’s Transportation as a driver, and Special Needs Monitor. While in high school Leanne worked at Walt's Dairy Bar in Still Creek.
A member of SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. of Tamaqua, Leanne took comfort in her faith. She enjoyed taking long car rides, tending to her beagles, fishing, reading, and baking nut and pumpkin rolls.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday May 19, 2015 at 10 o’clock A.M. from SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. Parish of St. John XXIII 301 Pine Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.
A Gathering of Friends will occur on Monday evening May 18, 2015 at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 P.M., and on Tuesday morning May 19, 2015 from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M.
Interment, Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
