Lawrence P. Brennan, age 59, of Lincoln Drive Tamaqua, Pa., died Friday, October 8, 2010, at Geissinger Medical Ctr. of Wyoming Vallley in Wilkes-Barre.
A 1969 Mahanoy City High School graduate, Larry served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He worked for Temple-Inland Container of Hazleton for 35 years.
Larry, was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tamaqua, and was a former member of the Coal Cracker Barber Shopper's of Barnesville.
Born in Shenandoah, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Margaret (Nolan) Brennan.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Judith F. Matteo-Brennan;
One Daughter,
Sonia (Brennan) Brode of Newark, Del.;
One Sister,
Peggy (Brenan) Campbell wife of Gerard of Frackville;
Nephew, Brian Campbell of Frackville;
Two aunts, one uncle, and many cousins.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Mauch Chunk & Greenwood Streets Tamaqua, PA..
A Funeral service will be at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 12, 2010, Rev. Jeffrey P. Kistler officiating.
Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua.
