Mrs. Laura M. (Adams) Sterner, age 99, formerly of New Ringgold, died Thursday, February 3, 2011, at Orwigsburg Center in Orwigsburg.
A homemaker, Laura was a member of Zion Stone Church of West Penn Twp., having been active in the Women's Guild.
Born in Kutztown, She was the daughter of the late Wilson and the late Hattie (Reimert) Adams.
She is survived by her
One Daughter,
Jean D. (Sterner) Moyer of Tamaqua;
One Son,
Marlin P. Sterner of Hamburg;
One Brother,
Ralph Adams of Hatfield;
Four grandchildren;
Nine great-grandchildren;
Two great-great grandchildren
Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Franklin Sterner March 2, 1996; brothers, Walter, Arthur, LeRoy, Richard, and Charles Adams; sisters, Mrs. Helen wink, Mrs. Anna Kerschner, Mrs. Behulah Ryan.
Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, Rte. #309, New Ringgold, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 8, 2011.
Funeral service will be at Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 8, 2011, Rev. Michael A. Frost officiating.
Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua, Pa.
