Laura A. Richie, 91 years of age of North Lehigh Gorge Drive Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016, at Heritage Hills Senior Living Center in Weatherly.
Widow of the Benjamin Richie, Laura is survived by: sisters, Mrs. Rosanna Coxe of Weatherly, Mrs. Phyllis Martienssen of Weatherly; brothers, Robert Graaf of Weatherly, Marvin Graaf of Hazleton, John Graaf of Stockton; grandchildren, Joshua, Bene' and John Evans; 5 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews also survive her.
A Weatherly High School graduate, Laura had worked at the White Haven Center. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Weatherly, and active in the L&L Fire Company Aux.
Born Wednesday, February 25, 1925 the daughter of the late Frank, and Irene (Knepper) Graaf. She was also predeceased by children, Clara Louise Richie and Benjamin Richie; brothers, Wallace, Gerald, and Raymond Graaf; sisters, Mrs. Christine Zamesky & Helen Youthers.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services of 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255. (570) 427-4231
Funeral Services will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday August 31, 2016 at 11 o'clock A.M. Friends may call on Wednesday morning form 9:30 A.M. until time of services.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
