Larue E.L. Miller

Mrs. LaRue E.L. (Stahler) Miller, age 92, of Orwigsburg, Pa., died Friday, May 14, 2010, at Orwigsburg Center in Orwigsburg, Pa, after a one week stay.

La Rue was a 1935 Tamaqua High School graduate, and had retired in 1980 from J.S. Zulick of Orwigsburg, having worked in the office for 20 years.

LaRue, was a member of Frieden Lutheran Church of New Ringgold.

Born in Mantzville, she was the daughter of the late Herbert J. and the late Edna L. (Roeder) Stahler.

She is survived by her

Two Daughters,
Miss Patricia A. Miller of Orwigsburg,
Mrs. Elizabeth "Beth" L. (Miller) Killian wife of Dennis of New Ringgold;

One Brother,
Brian Stahler of Mansfield, Pa.;

Five grandchildren
Eight great-grandchildren
One great-great-grandchild;

One nephew, and nieces.

Preceded in death by her brother, Dr. E. John Stahler; sister, Mrs. Evelyn Bitsko; and her companion on April 1, 2010 Carl A. Corby.

Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, Rte. #309, New Ringgold, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM Tuesday, May 25, 2010.

Memorial Service will be at Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc. at 6:00 PM Tuesday, May 25, 2010, Rev. Jennifer Oaks officiating.
