Larry G. Darrohn, Jr.

Mr. Larry G. Darrohn, Jr., age 46, of Jim Thorpe, Pa., died a Hero, Friday, December 11, 2009, while attempting to rescue his neighbor from their Duplex which caught on fire in Jim Thorpe, Pa.

A 1981 Nazareth High School graduate, Larry attended Northampton Community College and then enlisted in the United States Marines.

He was a member of Cross Roads Community Church of Lehighton, and was a Care Net Volunteer.

Born in Easton, he is the son of Larry Darrohn, Sr. and Barbara (Craig) Darrohn both of Lansford.

He is also survived by his

Diana L. (Darrohn) Achey and her Companion Dennis B. Heffner of Walnutport;

Richard A. Darrohn of Nazareth,
Kevin A. Darrohn of Lansford;

Maternal grandmother, Dorothy P. Craig of Lansford;

Uncle, Ron Craig and his wife Irma ,Mike Craig and his wife Kathy both of Easton, Aunt Pat and her husband Terry Keller of Nazareth;

Arrangements are being handled by Holmes - Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 200 East Bertsch Street, Lansford, Pa.,

The family will receive friends from Trinity Lutheran Church of 104 East Abbott Street Lansford, Pa. 18232 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 15, 2009.

Funeral service will be at Trinity Lutheran at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 15, 2009.

Interment will be at Northampton Memorial Shrine in Easton, Pa.
