Lamar B. Wentz, Sr.

Lamar B Wentz, Sr. age 71, of Ridge Rd., Andreas, PA, died Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at home in the care of his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie (Strohl) Wentz in 1998.
Lamar was a Union Carpenter and he was a member of the Lehighton National Guard.
Born in Lehighton on October 7, 1944, he was the son of the late Stanford Wentz, Sr. and the late Lena (Boyer) Wentz.
He is survived by his
Daughters,
Tammy Lynn Farber and her fiance Kevin Miller with whom he resided;
Kimberly Ann Wentz of Mount Gilead, NC;
Sons,
Lamar Wentz, Jr. of Andreas;
Gregory Allen Wentz of Tamaqua;
Nine Grandchildren
Six Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Stanford Wentz, Jr.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pa.
Graveside Service will be at Trachsville Cemetery, Towamensing Township, Carbon County at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 6, 2016, Reverend Russell Snyder to officiate.
