Kevin F. Rooney

Kevin F Rooney, Sr., age 67, of Conyngham, died Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Hazleton General Hospital.

He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Catherine L. (Witner) Rooney.

Kevin had been a Surgical Tech working for Novant Health System, Forsyth Medical Center, Winston Salem, NC.

He was a Vietnam Army Veteran.

Kevin was Protestant by faith and he was a fireman while in Valley Stream, Long Island, NY.

Born in Oceanside, Long Island, he was the son of the late James J. Rooney, Sr. and the late Helen (Dever) Rooney.

He is also survived by his

Two Stepsons:
Philip Swanzy of State College and
Danny Swanzy of Conyngham.

Private Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 211 First Street , Weatherly, PA.

Private interment with Military Honors at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
