Kenneth R. Kresge, husband, father grandfather, 72 years of age, a resident of Golf Road Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018, at St. Luke's University Hospital, Bethlehem.
Survived by his beloved wife of forty-seven years, Sharon Ann (Frey) Kresge; daughters, Melanie Bank of Levittown, Aimee West wife of William of Lehighton; sister, Kathryn Oppold of Palmerton; grand children whom he adored, Angelina, Declan, Sage, Kiera, and Carlin.
Born Thursday, June 21, 1945 in Lehighton, Pennsylvania the son of the late Kenneth, and Jennie (Balliet) Kresge. Ken was also predeceased by his sister, Marlene Nothstein.
Ken served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a welder in the Navy Ship Yards, New London, Ct., and for U.S. Steel in Fairless Hills before hitting the road as a long haul truck driver.
Ken was a 32 Degree Mason, Shriner, and active member of the West Penn Fire Company Fire Police.

A Remembrance Service will be held on Sat. June 30, 2018 at 11 o'clock A.M. from St. John's Church of Mahoning 826 Mahoning Drive Lehighton, Pennsylvania 18235, Rev. DeForest to officiate. Friends may call on the morning of services in church from 10:00 A.M. until time of worship.
Interment with Military Honors, Gnadden Huetten Cemetery, Lehighton, Pennsylvania.
