Mr. Kenneth S Getten, age 43, of Weatherly, died Monday, January 30, 2012, upon arrival at Hazleton General Hospital.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 18 years, Ruthann R. (Walck) Getten.
He was a certified electrician and licensed journeyman working for I.B.E.W. Local Union #375, Allentown.
He was a member of St. Patrick's R.C.C. of White Haven.
Kenneth was a graduate of Bergenfield High School in New Jersey.
Born in Oradell, NJ, he was the son of Stephen J. and Priscilla (Bennett) Getten of Albrightsville.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are his
Three Daughters,
Trish A., Heather L. and Makenna R. Getten all at home;
One Son,
Nicholas D Getten at home;
Two Brothers,
Stephen Getten, Jr. and his wife Linda of White Haven and Kevin Getten and his fiancee Diane Tabacco of Nashville, TN.;
Mother-in-law, Nancy Cosgrove; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews also survive him.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First St., Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffries, F.D. Supervisor where the family will receive friends on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 6-8 PM. Vigil Service at 7:00 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 9:30 AM at St. Patrick's R.C.C. 411 Allegheny St., White Haven, PA, Reverend John F. McHale officiating. No morning calling hours.
Interment will be at Union Cemetery of Weatherly.
