Kenneth was a cutter for Cressona Textile.

Born in Tamaqua, the son of the late Russell and Esther (Neifert) Gernert.

He is survived by his

Debbie A. (Gernert) Melendez wife of Luis of New Ringgold,

Eleanor (Gernert) Schmerfeld of Tamaqua,
Carol (Gernert) Sedlock of Tamaqua,

Russell Gernert, Jr. and his wife LaVaerne,
Claude T. Gernert and his wife Carol both of Florida;

Five grandchildren
One great-grandchild;

Preceded in death by a brother, Richard C. Gernert, Sr. on Jan. 4, 2004
