Kenneth Leroy Campbell

Mr. Kenneth LeRoy Campbell, age 76, of Crest Lane, Rush Township, Tamaqua died Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Hopital in Salisbury Twp.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Albina "Abby" (Sverchek) Campbell.
Kenneth was a Korean War Marine Corps Veteran.
In 1953, he started working for the Reading Railroad, switching to Conrail Railroad in 1976. He retired from Conrail in 1996 as Yard Master of the Hazleton Yards.
Kenneth was a member of the Masonic Chapter Peter Widner of Philadelphia, Tall Cedars; 32 Degree Mason; RaJah Temple of Reading; Shriner; and a member of the Scottish Rite Consistory, Valley of Allentown.
He was a 1953 Tamaqua High School graduate.
Born in Tamaqua, he was the son of the late LeRoy Campbell and the late Gertrude (Roberts) Campbell.
He is also survived by a sister.
